Cambridge Certificates
The first day of class fifteen pupils were presented with provisional ICE certificates, after the Speaking competition finished they were given the original ones. Others were given certificates for the individual subjects they sat for on the road to receive their ICE certificates this year.
DELF Intenational Diploma.
The international D.E.L.F. Diploma ( Diploma Elemental de Lengua Francesa) is an exam that is based on different abilities such as :
- Listening Comprehension.
- Written Comprehension.
- Oral production.
- Written production.
Pupils that sit for this exam obtain a certificate backed up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and are in conditions to use the language in different daily situations such as going to a restaurant, buying a transport ticket, book a room in a hotel and face daily routines in the French language.This does not only mean the use of grammatical and communicative skills it also introduces pupils into the French culture and opens doors to their future. Pupils in Senior 3 sit for this exam and were also presented with their corresponding certificates during the Speaking Competition.
