As part of their Project on Ancient Egypt our J6
pupils have been learning the process using dolls as the pharaohs’ bodies which
they then stuffed with salt, coated with spices and bound in cloth. 
These were
then placed in coffins and placed in a pyramid which the children also
constructed.
