On Tuesday 18th our students started sitting for their IGCSE examinations.This part of the year is particularly intense since it signifies the coronation of a long and conscientious preparation process which actually began the moment our students set foot on Nightingale years ago. By November 4th Senior 4 will have sat for Math, Environmental Management, Spanish, ICT and Art while in Senior 5 will have been tested in History, Literature and English Language. In all they must sit for 7 subjects drawn from different subject areas such as Humanities, Sciences, Languages and Creative Studies so as to qualify for the International Certificate of Education (ICE Diploma) which is traditionally presented to our students at the beginning of the school year.
These
exams represent a unique opportunity feel part of a global community that
shares the same feelings and learning experiences as our students.
Cambridge
