S1, S2 and S3 students were able to re-launch this school
project that allows them to improve their speaking and presentation skills ,
while enhancing their speech writing ability.
The
categories of this year’s competition were ´monologues¨ (for S1) and ´debates¨
( for S2) and the themes were varied ranging from "Best excuses ever"
to "Where do young people learn more: inside or outside schools?"
S3 played the role of the qualified jury that assessed participants according to established parameters (rubrics) that evaluated body language, content, clarity and preparedness among other aspects.
The event proved to be a great moment of fun for all students while it gave participants one more chance to practice how to communicate ideas effectively.
